Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 19-year-old male. I got a whole body checkup done a couple of days ago and all the results came out well. However, the ECG reports revealed left ventricular hypertrophy. I consulted the cardiologist and she said that it was an error and I did not have to worry about anything. I sometimes feel a little heaviness in my chest area but I feel that it is because of gases or because I do not work out at all. How do I know my heart is fine?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I have read and gone through your ECG. I understand your worry. Left ventricular hypertrophy is a normal finding in people who are actively engaged in sports or people with a long history of hypertension and could also be an error during the ECG examination. Nothing you have written proves that you have any heart issues. I advise you to stay away from worry. Eat healthily and exercise regularly. In the case, you begin to have new symptoms, see your doctor for a physical check-up.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
