Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 29-year-old and have been suffering from severe loose motion for the last two days. I excrete whatever I eat. Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Kindly answer some questions so I can reach a diagnosis and start treatment. Since when are you experiencing these problems? What is the stools' amount, duration, frequency, and consistency? Any history of eating food from unhealthy sources in the past 48 hours? Is anyone else sick after eating the same food? Is there any blood in your stools? Kindly answer the questions so I can diagnose and treat you better. For supportive care, I suggest you take the tablet Dicyclomine for abdominal pain or spasm and the tablet Ondansetron for nausea and vomiting. Take oral rehydration solution (ORS) and try to stay hydrated. Empirical antibiotics can be started, like Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. However, stool culture microscopy is required to start definite antibiotics. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them and take medications with their consent. I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
