Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Today I went to the dentist for a checkup and cleaning. When I came out I realized that my two front teeth were loose. I guess they were too rough. When I was 7, I fell on my teeth and I have been told that the roots got extremely short after that. My dentist said there was nothing she could have done then. She suggested just using my back teeth and cutting my food into small pieces. I want to know if there was a way to make it not loose anymore or help it.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have been through your query and I can understand your concern.
After cleaning and scaling of the teeth, they generally become loose temporarily because of the ultrasonic movement of the instrument. You do not need to worry as it will get to the normal in coming days. I would suggest you not making the teeth more loose by moving them by your tongue or fingers. Just keep it like that and it will become normal after some days or a week. Follow up after one week.
