Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My grandmother is 65 years old. She had a fever last week. She was taking Zerodol-P and Azio 500. Now, there is no fever but, her eating capacity has greatly reduced. After taking only a bite or two, she feels full and does not want to eat further.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

A reduction in appetite occurs due to both fever as well as drug-induced gastritis. Firstly, complete the five-day course of Azio (Azithromycin). If the fever has settled, stop Zerodol (Aceclofenac) and have it only in case of fever. She can have tablet Pan DSR (Pantoprazole) before breakfast once a day for five days. She can have today's dose before dinner. Avoid fatty, oily and spicy food. Ask her to walk for a short while after having her food.

Hope this helps you. Get back if you have any doubts.
