Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I was diagnosed with duodenal follicular lymphoma and have low WBC count. Please review my attached reports.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Actually the tests you have done are fine but there is slightly changes in values as you mentioned above. These changes occurs due to free radiation present in environment. All these radiation comes from drugs, environment, and all. Your values are not significantly changed to cause anything serious. These changes can be associated with lymphoma as well. So do not worry about these changes, these radicals keep changing time to time. So immune system will change it accordingly. We do not have control over these radicals. So it will not cause anything so please do not worry.

I hope this helps.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

At what level would you be concerned about 5-HIAA results?

Answered by Dr. Sugreev Singh

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Actually values should be more then 20 till that it is considered as moderate. It does not causes anything and so far you do not have any symptoms. These values can be high due to lymphoma, and values will decrease automatically if your liver is functioning well. I would suggest you to avoid alcohol and take healthy diet such as fruits and green vegetables. Just by improving liver function these values will decrease so just focus on diet.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
