Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My grandmother, who is 77 years old, has not been feeling well for the past two weeks. She had body pain and intermittent fever. She started having severe white discharge today. The discharge is thick in consistency. We do not have any idea about this. This is the first time she has had this kind of white discharge after her menopause. Kindly suggest what should we do. What could its cause be?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for stopping by!

I am here to provide expert opinion on your medical issues.

Regarding the symptoms you mentioned, your grandmother has malaria with chlamydia infection. I suggest that she take the following:

1. Gyno-daktarin Vaginal capsule (Miconazole nitrate 400 mg) twice daily.

2. Tablet Voltaren (Diclofenac) 100 mg twice daily.

3. Capsule Piroxicam 40mg four times daily.

4. Tablet Artemeter 100 mg twice daily.

5. Tablet Metronidazole 400 mg three times daily.

6. Capsule Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxicillin 500 mg and Clavulanic acid 125 mg) 500 mg twice daily.

7. Apply Neurogesic (Diclofenac 50 mg and Paracetamol 325 mg) cream twice daily.

8. Tablet Ketoconazole 200 mg once a day.

Consult your doctor and take the medicines accordingly.
