Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I just want to know if my case requires a visit to the hospital. During prone masturbation, I accidentally pushed a bit hard and felt a little pain in my penis. I lately noticed a slight bulge on the lower side of the penis. I have no problem getting an erection, but feel like my penis is slightly bent upwards. Is the problem? Is it self-curable? Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

I appreciate you signing up on icliniq.com.

You now have exclusive access to expert medical opinion.

Based on the information that you have provided, it is unclear whether your case requires a visit to the hospital. While you may have experienced a minor injury or strain during masturbation, the symptoms you have described (such as a slight bulge and a slight bend in the penis) are not necessarily indicative of a serious medical condition. However, I would recommend scheduling an appointment with your primary care physician or a urologist to discuss your symptoms further and explore potential treatment options. They can perform a thorough physical exam, review your medical history, and order any necessary tests (such as an ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging) to help diagnose the underlying cause of your symptoms and determine the best course of treatment.

In the meantime, I would suggest practicing good self-care measures (such as avoiding excessive masturbation or sexual activity, using lubricant during sexual activity to reduce friction, and practicing good hygiene habits) to help prevent further injury or strain to the penis. Additionally, you may want to consider exploring complementary therapies (such as acupuncture or massage therapy) to help manage any discomfort or pain you may be experiencing. If you experience any worsening of your symptoms (such as severe pain, swelling, or difficulty urinating), I would recommend seeking medical care promptly to help prevent complications.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of more queries.

Thank you.
