Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 28 year old male. I am suffering from fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, pale stools and upper abdominal bloating. I am addicted to Benadryl for the past one and a half years to get sleep. I stopped taking it over last three days.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your symptoms can be due to many conditions, but my first suspicion is a liver problem. Apart from liver problem it can be due to,

  1. Anemia.
  2. Vitamin deficiency.
  3. Indigestion leading to malabsorption.
  4. Problems in pancreas and gut.

I would recommend tests called liver function test, complete hemogram and ultrasound abdomen. Revert back with the reports. Till then avoid eating oily foods, non-vegetarian foods. Try to eat more of vegetables and fruits.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I attached the report. PFA and guide accordingly. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thanks for the follow-up.

I went through your reports (attachment removed to protect patient identity), and it is normal, except for mild elevation in GGT. It means that your problem is just due to vitamin deficiency.

I recommend you to start using tablet Nurakind D3 once a day for one month, and you shall feel better.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
