This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 29 years old and my wife is 26. We are married for around one and a half years now. Over five months we are trying for baby and still no success. As some doctor suggested tablet Ovacare for my wife and Fertisure M for me, we are using these since last 5 months. The problem is that I cannot ejaculate when I am doing sex. Many times I failed to ejaculate into the vagina and my penis is no more harder after 3 to 5 minutes of sex. However I can ejaculate by masturbation. So some time we tried masturbation method for ejaculation in her vagina. What should I do to increase my stamina and sex drive to easily ejaculate? We used to have sex on ovulation date. If you can guide regarding the best way of intercourse and sex drive it would be beneficial.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern is that you lose erection inside vagina and hence ejaculation is not directed.

The most common cause of such erectile dysfunction has been stress and performance anxiety. So, it is suggested that you should keep your stress levels down with increased water intake during the day. You can preferably perform intercourse in the early morning hours when the vigor is high, endorphins levels are higher and also mind is relaxed after a good night's sleep. Secondly, if attempted in the evening then you may have a small dose of tablet Alprazolam 0.25 mcg one hour before the act and this shall help you remove any anxiety associated and shall help you better.

Also avoid having sex after full stomach or immediately after food. There should be a gap of at least 2 hours. Thirdly, best position for conception would be side to side position which allows the penis to be closest to the cervical opening and also man on top. Fourthly, once ejaculated place 2 pillows beneath your partner so this will allow sperms from flowing out. You may continue using medicine as advised. Please try the above and do follow up with response.
