Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am not able to sleep from almost eight months now. I keep thinking, and questions keep running in my mind. I am also depressed. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
The problem of sleep and excessive thinking might be due to depression itself. For sleep problem, try to avoid caffeinated drinks after 5 PM. Go to bed after completing your work, get up in the morning on fixed time.
In my opinion, you need to consult a psychiatrist either online or in person for a detailed assessment of your problem. After a full assessment only, I can advise appropriate treatment for your depression and sleep problem. It is unlikely that eight months long problem is going to disappear on its own.
