Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am taking medication prescribed by my doctor. The medications are Depricap, Rivotril, Serloft, Comig, and Ruling. I have only been taking these tablets for two days, but I am already experiencing severe headaches and knee and leg pain. My question is, is this normal? Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It is not due to the above medications, but you seem to be on too much medications. Tablet Depricap (Fluoxetine) is an antidepressant, and the tablet Loft (Ofloxacin) is also an antidepressant. If you have started medication just two days, you do not need to take two medications together now. Tablet Comig (Naproxen + Domperidone) is used for erectile dysfunction. It is not antidepressants. Otherwise, you are not on any medication which causes you knee or leg pain. I suggest you have the following investigation

1. CBC (complete blood count).

2. RBS (random blood sugar).

3. Thyroid profile.

4. Vitamin B12.

5. Vitamin D3.

I hope this will help you out.

Please let me know if you have further doubts.

Thank you.
