Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I found some abnormality in a routine blood test. I want your advice on that. Presently, I do not have any problem and I had a routine checkup. I am currently on Olmezest 20 and Feburic 40.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Based on your query and reports (attachment removed to protect patient identity), my opinion is as follows:

  1. The hematologic values are a bit low, and looking at MCV probably points towards megaloblastic anemia.
  2. Vitamin B12, Folic acid supplements, and a diet rich in green leafy vegetables should be adequate.
  3. It appears to be in the early stages. Vitamin B12 and Folic acid values will take another one to two months to improve.
  4. Other issues like arsenic and cesium may require a heavy metal water purifier.
  5. Mild variations in other things are not to be worried about at present. If it continues to increase after six months, we need to look into it. At present, there is no need to be worried.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
