What causes red rashes and burning sensation around my neck?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have red rashes around my neck, causing itching and burning sensations. Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
It looks like Miliaria (sweat dermatitis). It appears to be the source of your condition, caused by an allergy to extreme heat and sweating. Take the following medications for a week and take a cold bath twice daily. Apply Mometasone cream and Calamine, Aloe vera, and light liquid paraffin with water lotion twice daily. Make sure you apply Mometasone first, then Calamine. Also, take a tablet of 180 mg of Fexofenadine once a day for seven days.
I hope this helps.
Please revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
