Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I recently had a miscarriage at 11 weeks when the fetus was nine weeks and four days. I had a D and C procedure done for that. I am facing some issues (fights) at home due to my husband's behavior. He is not supporting me in this hour as a husband. Instead, he is fighting with me which makes me cry and shout for the last two days. I am very much worried if this will impact my healing of the uterus and my body for future pregnancy. Please tell me if this will impact my uterus healing and what steps I should take to prevent it.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Post-pregnancy (either baby birth or unluckily miscarriage) in both the conditions, there are strong hormonal changes that occur. That is for regaining normal menstrual cycle for trying to conceive again. The process takes time but due to hormonal changes, the woman feels not only physical changes but also mood instabilities as well. I do not know exactly what is going on with you, but my advice for you is to have healthy measures for your mental and physical health.

  1. Have daily exercise, yoga and walking.
  2. Have good nutritious diet with low salt, spice, and sugar.
  3. If you have been treated for any disease try to have the full treatment.

For mental and emotional health, have some nice activity like playing with kids or teaching kids, read some nice book of your interest. Try to have high self-esteem, nice thoughts, nice body, and nice healing.

Thank you.
