Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had a mole taken off my shin. It was gray-blue. The dermatologist said it was a blue mole. He said they are mostly benign and that I should be fine. He removed it and sent it for a melanoma check. Should I be worried?

Hi doctor,
Thank you for the reply.
There are no symptoms. It has been there for a while. A biopsy was done. I have not heard yet. No other site is affected.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I read and understand your concern.
Then you are not at risk, there are extremely low chances of it being malignant. Nevertheless, excisional biopsy is not only diagnostic but therapeutic too.
Looking forward to your response in order to help you.
