Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I was hit by a car while I was on my scooty 13 days back. I am getting nightmares and cannot sleep. I cannot drive because of fear, and I feel like having chest pain and something uneasy in my stomach when the incident is recalled or when I see someone with a motorcycle. I am drinking a lot to sleep. Please help.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern. You are suffering from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). Generally, it resolves in six months, but I can understand how difficult these six months will be for you. Every motorcycle car might remind you of this incident. Now the best way is to take resting pills. I suggest these medicines that will help you take your mind off the incident and help you sleep better. I suggest you take tablet Nexito Plus (Clonazepam 0.5 mg and Escitalopram oxalate 5 mg) at night, tablet Librium five mg (Chlordiazepoxide 5 mg) in the morning. I suggest you take these medications. They will help you a lot and will also help you quit drinking. Hope this helps. Kindly revert in case of further queries.
