Can oral thrush indicate a possible risk of an STD?

Hello doctor,
I have had stomach acidity, a slightly blocked nose, and oral thrush after I returned home from visiting another country. I had sex multiple times three months ago. I had undergone the HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus)1 and 2, HSV (Herpes Simplex Virus), and HPV (Human Papillomavirus) tests a month ago, but all these tests came back negative. Even though all tests are negative, I am worried about the oral thrush. Is it a serious condition? Am I suffering from STDs (Sexually Transmitted Diseases)? Please help.

Oral thrush is a fungal infection associated with STDs (sexually transmitted diseases). However, it can also exist as a separate entity. Which test for HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) have you undergone? Did you have unprotected sex multiple times? I suggest you take the tablet Fluconazole 150 mg daily for seven days and apply Candid mouth paint (Clotrimazole) three times a day. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.

I had an upset stomach, acidic burps, and a rash under the tongue. The doctors prescribed a spray called Hexamedine. I had sex with four different partners two months ago. The tests are all negative. I had protected sex. Although I had oral sex, I did not have any problem. I have had this white pimple in my throat for the last three days. What is this, and what can cause this? I am terrified, as I still have an acidic stomach, but there is no pain while swallowing.

I think you have infectious mononucleosis and oral thrush. Which antibiotics have you taken for it? I suggest you take the tablet Azithromycin 500 mg once daily for five days. Consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent. As the lesion is painless, it is pointing more toward a fungal infection.
