Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a slight overbite. Should I still consider braces? My bottom teeth are fine but are still a little forward. If I did get braces, how long would I be wearing them? Will the dentist ever say no to me wanting to get braces?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I will help you solve the issues.

Orthodontic braces can correct the overbite. However, the average orthodontic treatment time takes about one year and six months of retainer.

Certain overbite does not need orthodontic treatment if it does not affect esthetics. However, the orthopantomogram will help in diagnosis. Take an orthopantomogram and consult me for further details.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
