Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I suffer from PCOD and regularly take the tablet Krimson 35. My partner and I had intercourse three months back, and we are not planning for a baby now. I have got my periods for the last two months. There was bleeding, but a little less compared to normal. Yesterday I got my period, but there was bleeding with pain. Today there is neither pain nor bleeding. Is it possible that I am pregnant? Should I get tested?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
If you take the tablet Krimson 35 (Cyproterone and Ethinyl estradiol) regularly, you cannot get pregnant as it is an oral contraceptive unless you have missed a pill or two. Sometimes long-term use of OCP (oral contraceptives) reduces blood flow. So that is the reason your bleeding is less. But if you think you have forgotten to take a pill or two, get a pregnancy test, preferably a blood test for beta hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), as it is very accurate.
Thank you.

Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have one more query. I have had a one or two days gap while taking tablets, but I have not missed any dose. Should I be worried? Please clarify
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
You say you had a two-day gap but did not miss any. What does this mean? If you have missed two days or a gap of two days, then there is a possibility of you getting pregnant.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I mean to say that I could not take a pill for some reason. I had a one-day gap, but I continued it the next day, but I have taken all 21 pills, which is what I meant. Does this cause an issue?
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
If you have missed a pill, you need to take that pill you missed and the second pill at the scheduled time. Usually, missing one pill does not have an issue, but sometimes you may conceive. So wait and see. If you miss a period, do a pregnancy test.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
So far, I have not seen any symptoms. It is only about the period's flow rate. I have had less flow before, also. Just wanted to be sure this time did not want to risk. One thing is I have not skipped pills. I have taken it all in a cycle.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
If you have any doubts, do a pregnancy test.
Thank you.
