Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 21-year-old girl. Whenever I touch my private part, I can only feel the clitoris, but after an orgasm, I feel intense pain in my right or left pelvis. The pain starts after ten mins and continues for one hour, or the orgasm remains for one day or two days. I have been diagnosed with the mild polycystic ovarian syndrome. What could cause the pain, and is it normal to happen?
Kindly help.

Thank you for your query.
Pain could be due to many reasons like just bowel or gastric problems, premenstrual pain, anxiety or stress-related pain, pelvic or vaginal infection, etc. Better to investigate vaginal swabs, transvaginal and per-abdominal scans, and cervical smears. Gastric issues or irritable bowel syndrome or if there is any torsion cyst or hormonal issue due to an imbalance before menses. You can collect the samples and give them to the laboratory and can consult specialist
I suggest you follow a few instructions mentioned below.
I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
