Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

For the last two days, I am finding trouble mainly keeping or getting my erection. I started losing it after having sex and since then I have been losing it. It has been two days. Is it something to worry about? I used to have Viagras sometimes but that day I did not have it. Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to iclinq.com.

I can understand your concern about your symptoms. According to your complaints, you may be suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED). The reasons for erectile dysfunction can be one of the following-

  1. Stress due to work or family-related, night duties. If you have this then plan for regular exercise and yoga.
  2. Depression
  3. Varicocele can be a reason. Get an ultrasound scrotum for diagnosis.
  4. Fear of failure like having one episode of ED once may make you feel you will end up with ED.
  5. Low self-esteem due to chronic masturbation.
  6. Homosexuality is not being attracted to same-sex.
  7. Religious constraints.
  8. Smoking and alcohol.
  9. Long-term illness such as cardiac disease, thyroid disease, kidney disease, or any other disease with long-term medication
  10. For a vitamin deficiency, you can use the tablet of Zincovit and Shelcal.
  11. Negative attitude towards your partner.
  12. Hormonal issues such as thyroid issues, low testosterone, or increased prolactin.
  13. Long-term drug usage.
  14. Diabetes and hypertension.

You need to check the Doppler penis, USG pelvis and scrotum, blood pressure, RBS (random blood sugar), free T3 and T4, testosterone, and TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) levels. Share more details regarding the above reasons so that we can work on diagnosis and treatment. You need to plan for regular exercise and a proper diet.

  1. The list of exercises includes basic exercises like Kegels, squats, Yoga, running, or fast walking for five minutes.
  2. Missionary sex possession: Planks, push-ups, mountain climbers, and glute bridges.
  3. Standing sex position: Bicep curls, pull-ups, and jump squats.
  4. Doggy style: Jump squats and walking lunges.
  5. Cowgirl or the girl on the top move: Glute bridges and leg raises.
  6. Food: Strawberry, apple, avocado, sweet potato, sesame seed, almond, garlic, and a little chocolate.
  7. For a temporary solution, you can take a tablet of Maildfil (Tadalafil) 5 mg twice a day.

Thank you.
