What to do if a pimple on the penis shaft gets itchy and hard on scratching, erecting, or masturbating?
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have a pimple under the skin on the left side of my penis shaft. The pimple gets hard and itchy whenever I scratch, erect, or masturbate. I have undergone circumcision. It has been around ten months, and I am still feeling it.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have reviewed the image you shared (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). It is not like a pimple problem. The mark seen in the image is due to previous circumcision or some old infection, and such scars do not cause itchiness. The problem you suffer from can be an infection in the urine tube (urethra). Urethra is a tube through which urine comes from the bladder to the outside. As the urethra runs below the scar, you have, so maybe, you are getting the sensation of itching over the scar. To confirm the cause of the itchiness, you can go for a urine examination along with a physical examination by a urologist. If the diagnosis is confirmed, your doctor will recommend a few days of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicines for the treatment.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
yes such symptoms of itching during erection can happen due to internal inflammation. physical examination is best way to confirm that followed by urine test. because if any other test like ultrasound is needed or not , can only be confirmed by physical examination
Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
