Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

External hemorrhoid causes bleeding and pain when they get enlarged. It occurs secondary to constipation producing abnormal pressure over the anus causing swelling of piles. The definite therapy is surgery and having lifestyle modification helps to control hemorrhoids. I suggest you follow these measures to have some control. Avoid having constipation by taking a fiber-rich diet daily. Take green leafy vegetables with fruits or you can use commercially available fibers like Isabgol husk or Fibrocol. Take this daily even with or without having constipation. The ideal time for defecation is during the morning or thirty minutes after taking meals. Reduce your weight.

If you have pain, you can apply Xylocaine gel or Diltiazem gel three times daily. Take an adequate amount of water daily. Take atleast two to three liters of water daily. Do exercise regularly for at least 45 minutes. You can take tablet Daflon 500 mg (Diosmin) twice daily for five days. You can use some laxatives such as Lactulose 15 ml at night or Polyethylene glycol sachet twice daily for some time while having bleeding. These measures help to solve your problem.

The Probable causes

You seem to have anal hemorrhoids.

Treatment plan

Follow the measures mentioned above.

Regarding follow up

Have a follow-up after seven days of taking treatment.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
