Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am having a breakout on my forehead and I suspiciously think of that as fungal acne. Those are tiny bumps that are itchy and swollen. Can you recommend something for me that will help to treat these bumps?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Acne can be treated easily with facewash, tablets, and creams. Some people have more oil on their faces which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped, and creams must be continued to prevent a recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also necessary. Please do not do any self-treatment, such as over-the-counter steroid creams. Do not burst the pimples with your fingers that lead to ugly scars. The marks left behind after the pimples heal can also be treated. Apply Clindamycin 1 % gel. Kindly share your pictures.

I hope this information will help.

Thank you.
