Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 25-year-old woman who got married this year. I am seven months pregnant. I am stressed with my family and surroundings. We had a love marriage, but nowadays I feel my husband is keeping a distance from me and is not romantic. I asked him for the reason many times, but he said there is nothing like that. He does not talk properly with me. I am very stressed and depressed. Currently, I am taking pregnancy supplements. What should I do?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand what you must be feeling right now. Pregnancy is an important milestone and one of the happiest things in a woman's life provided she is prepared for it. If not it would bring stress. So was it a planned pregnancy or an accidental one? There is also a chance that a change in your hormones can make you feel stressed. As you had a love marriage, how is your family environment and are they supportive? I can help you if you provide information on these questions. Your stress may negatively affect your child's growth, so do not let anything stress you. I suggest you practice deep breathing exercises, relaxation exercises, and ventilation.

I hope this has helped you.

Thank you.
