Hello doctor,

I had sex with my fiance 10 days back. It was the 12th day after my last period. I took I-pill within two hours of intercourse. But I did not have withdrawal bleeding. Is there any chance to get pregnant?

I did not have withdrawal bleeding yet. I took the pill on the 15th. Though I hade some period issue before, it keeps on delaying every month. 1st was my date. Can you please suggest me what should I do?

Get your home urine pregnancy test just to rule out pregnancy. Though the chances are very low as you had I-pill (Levonorgestrel) on time. With I-pill, due to hormonal imbalance, the period may get delayed for one to two months. Withdrawal bleeding is a side effect of I-pill and does not necessarily occur in every case.
