Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 25-year-old boy. I have a pre-ejaculation problem. I do not last more than five minutes. Please provide me with the proper solution.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

You have not given sufficient information regarding your query. However, based on available information I would like to tell you that the average duration for intercourse worldwide is three to five minutes. So, five minutes is enough. Premature ejaculation is when ejaculation happens within 30 seconds of vaginal penetration or even before penetration. So I think you do not need any therapy.

  • Most of the time early ejaculation depends on our mental state if we are anxious then these type of problems happens. Therefore you have to control your anxiety symptoms by relaxation techniques and breathing exercises.
  • You should always take a second try as most of the time first ejaculation happened faster and subsequently time increases.
  • A female on the top position always causes increased time during ejaculation so you can try it.
  • You can start some exercises for premature ejaculation (ejaculation on little stimulation) like start and stop techniques. It is the technique in which whenever you go for the toilet just after starting, you stop your micturition for three to four seconds and then again release and repeat this four to five times.
  • Sex is a process between two people so always both partners should be involved in therapy. So ask your wife to divert your mind whenever you reach the climax it will also increase the timing. Keep in mind that most of the time first ejaculation is always early second will increase itself.
  • I would like to suggest to you if the above things are not working., go for short-acting medication like Dapoxetine 30 mg, one hour before intercourse as this will increase some duration.

Thank you for consulting me.
