Hello doctor,

I am a 20 year old. I think that I ejaculate very early during sex and this dissatisfies me often. It takes me hardly three to four minutes. Please suggest some treatment that would help me last longer without ejaculating very soon during sex. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Premature ejaculation is not a disease, and it is seen in almost all men at some point in their lives. It occurs because of stress and anxiety about performing during sex or a previous bad sexual experience. Medicines can be taken initially to reduce your anxiety if you are married or have sex regularly. Practicing exercises to strengthen the muscles which help in ejaculation and retraining the penis to ejaculate late, would be a more permanent solution rather than taking medicines. There is no permanent cure by any system of medicine. You can read in detail about these exercises online:

  1. Kegels exercise for men.
  2. Squeeze technique for premature ejaculation.

All medicines are for temporary relief. The safest drug prescribed world over by qualified doctors is Duralast (Dapoxetine). A combination of the above-mentioned exercises and Duralast will be a permanent solution. After mastering these exercises, gradually you can stop Duralast. This tablet should not be taken every day, only during sex. Take the tablet one to two hours before intercourse. A mild dryness of the mouth, giddiness, and nausea can occur in few patients. It gradually decreases after few days.

Thank you doctor,

What dose of Duralast do you suggest? And, what to do if the erection does not go away due to the medication? Is there any other way to get stronger erections that would last longer?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  • If you have erection issues, you need to get your hormone levels checked and also go for a physical examination by a urologist.
  • I suggest taking Duralast 30 mg two hours before intercourse only. Duralast will prolong the ejaculation.
  • At 20 years, I will not suggest taking tablets for erection, like Viagra without an evaluation as most of the drugs can be habit forming.

Feel free to ask in case of more queries.

Thank you doctor,

I have no issues with erection. It is just that I ejaculated very early during my first attempt at intercourse and after that, it is normal. I hope regular exercises will help along with Duralast as suggested by you. Also, sometimes I get allergies and I usually take Allegra 120 for the same. If I get any kind of allergies, can I take the same?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  • You can take Allegra (Fexofenadine).
  • Also, after mastering the exercises, you can stop the tablet.
