Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 48 years old and experiencing a weak erection and difficulty sustaining the same. The symptoms were first observed ten years back. Also, there is premature ejaculation. Other physical ailments that I am suffering from are hypertension and taking Amlopres-L (Amlodipine and Lisinopril) for the last ten years, high cholesterol, and triglycerides. My cholesterol level is 225 mg/dL and triglyceride is 200 mg/dL for the last 12 years. I used to do frequent masturbation at an early age. I do have erections during morning hours many times, particularly after sound sleep or if I had a long walk the previous day. I am taking Sildenafil 25 mg or 5 mg Cialis, which is sufficient. But, I wish to get rid of tablet support and live naturally. I consulted a urologist today, and they prescribed me Nano-Leo capsules and Modula 5 mg for ten days. I wish to have your second opinion on this. Please guide.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

Your condition can be due to:

  1. Stress due to work or family, night duties. Plan for regular exercise and yoga.

  2. Depression.

  3. Varicocele.

  4. Fear of failure. Having one episode of ED (erectile dysfunction) once may make you feel you will end up with ED.

  5. Low self-esteem.

  6. Chronic Masturbation.

  7. Homosexuality.

  8. Religious constraints.

  9. Smoking and alcohol.

  10. Prolonged illness, including heart problems, thyroid disorders, kidney diseases, or any other condition requiring regular treatment.

  11. Negative attitude towards your partner.

  12. Hormonal issues like thyroid and low testosterone.

  13. Long-term drug usage.

  14. Diabetes and hypertension.

Need to check Doppler penis, USG pelvis (ultrasound pelvis), and scrotum, Blood Pressure, RBS (random blood sugar), Free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (thyroxine), testosterone, and TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). Share more details regarding the above reasons to work on diagnosis and treatment. For a temporary solution, you can use the tablet Mildfil 5mg (Tadalafil) twice a day and tab Duralast (Dapoxetine) 30 mg 30 minutes before sex for 30 days. Consult a specialist doctor, talk to them, and then take the medication.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
