Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My mother has been suffering from Rapid progressive dementia since the end of last year. She is completely bedridden now. She shows hand movements and is conscious. She is suffering from three bed sores, of which one is critical stage 4. She has been suffering from sepsis infection, affecting her kidney, stage 1. Also has UTI and infections in the mouth. She is hospitalized now. What is her life expectancy?

Thank you.

Hi doctor,

Hi,

Glad to have you back!

I am here to help you get the best medical advice.

She should be given two units of blood, Iron, and Vitamin B12. She should be given an Injection Erythropoietin (Recombinant Human Erythropoietin Alfa 4000 IU per 0.4ml). These will help to build up hemoglobin.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of more queries.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
