What causes recurrent itchy rashes on the neck and chest?

Hello doctor,
I am a 23-year-old female. I have rashes on one part of my body, specifically on the right side of my neck and some on the upper part of my chest. The first batch of rashes appeared two weeks ago. They were flat, oval or circular, scaly, and very itchy. I showed a picture to our family doctor, who said it might be Pityriasis rosea. She prescribed Cetirizine, Zyrtec, and Foskina B cream for the rashes. I also exposed myself to sunlight for three to five minutes a day because I heard it could help. Additionally, I applied Head & Shoulders shampoo to the rashes whenever I took a bath. I followed this routine for 10 days, and the rashes dried up, stopped itching, and faded. Now, they appear as dark spots but are still visible, so I continue applying the cream and following the same routine. However, I have noticed new rashes developing, and they look different from the first batch. These new rashes are small, not flat, and resemble pimples. Every day, one to three new rashes appear. I want to ask what could this be? What might be causing it? Could it be due to staying indoors for four months with little sunlight? Or is it related to stress from work?

Please send us photographs of all affected areas, including close-ups. What are the symptoms? Do you experience any pain, burning, or itching? Did you have a throat infection before the rash appeared? Do you have a history of diabetes, hypertension, or a family history of similar rashes?

Thank you for the reply.
The first batch of rashes was itchy, but the new ones are not. There was no throat infection. No history of diabetes or hypertension, and no family history of rashes. I have attached the photos.

I read your query and can understand your concern.
I have seen the pictures (attachment removed to protect patient identity). The rash could be a lesion of guttate psoriasis or Pityriasis rosea. I recommend using Mometasone cream twice daily for two weeks. In most cases, these conditions are harmless. A confirmed diagnosis can only be made through a biopsy, which may be needed if there is no improvement in three weeks.
