Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

It can be due to semen hyperviscosity (SHV), which is common in 12 to 29 percent of men and can lead to male infertility. Semen is composed of proteins essential to the coagulation and liquefaction of semen. Hypofunction of the prostate or seminal vesicles can cause increased seminal fluid viscosity, a condition diagnosed through rectal examination or pelvis and scrotum ultrasound. Infection-increasing leukocytes, oxidative stress, biochemical and genetic factors exacerbate SHV development.

Hyperviscosity of semen does not have proper movement in the female reproductive tract and can lead to decreased sperm count. SHV is treated with a hypodermic needle, mucolytic enzymes, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory agents, depending on the cause. Share more details with your ultrasound report, blood report, or hormonal studies.

I hope this helps.

Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
