Hello doctor,
I had an unprotected sexual act on day 1 of my period. There was no penetration but the penis was rubbed against the vagina and I was scared about pregnancy from precum so I took an I pill within 12 hours on day 2 of my period. Should I get a pregnancy test done?

I understand your concern. Sex during periods does not cause pregnancy, you do not need Ipill, your period may stop within a day or two, or withdrawal bleeding may merge with periods, it may also occur a few days later. It varies from person to person. The next period may be late but there is no cause for worry. You do not need a pregnancy test.

Your period may come earlier, on time or late there is no rule but there is no cause for worry. You do not need any medicine to bring periods just wait, even if you do not have withdrawal bleeding.
