How to increase the width of vagina?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got married six months ago. On the first day, my wife experienced significant pain, so I did not force intercourse. However, even after trying repeatedly, I have been unable to penetrate her vagina.

We consulted a gynecologist, who examined my wife and was able to insert one finger. She said that the vaginal length was normal and advised us to attempt intercourse regularly. She prescribed LOX 2% Jelly and advised my wife to apply it and practice daily.

We tried for a week without using the jelly but were still unable to achieve penetration. Today, my wife applied the jelly and first inserted one finger, then attempted two fingers, but they did not go in easily.

We would appreciate your advice regarding this situation. How can the vaginal opening be made more accommodating for intercourse? Please let us know any tips or suggestions.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

First of all, I would like to tell you that sexual intercourse is not a pleasure-filled drama as shown in adult movies. Most couples during the initial times of sex face problems. Difficulty in penetration, pain during sex, etc., are common problems. Position during sex also matters.

I suggest you ask her to put a pillow under her buttocks, which will aid in easy penetration. Sitz bath or sitting in warm water before sex for 10 to 15 minutes will help relax the muscles and dilate them. K-Y jelly is a water-based lubricant and thus results in smooth penetration. These things will help in good sex.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Can you please suggest whether we should go ahead with direct sex or through condoms? Should we use KY jelly or Lignocaine gel?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I suggest you follow these instructions:

  • She should apply Lignocaine gel with her fingers over her vagina. No need to go deep.
  • Use a condom if you are comfortable. Apply K-Y jelly over the penis.
  • Try to spend more time in foreplay, as this will help to dilate the vagina. Do not remain distressed because most individuals suffer such issues during the initial days of married life.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
