Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I had a lump on my penis, accompanied by rashes on the folds of my arms and buttocks, three weeks ago. I remember having a slight fever and sweating in my groin area. I cannot recall if I had night sweats as well. I feared it was syphilis because I had unprotected sex before then. I started taking Doxycycline, and everything started disappearing. So, I want to know what these symptoms could be.

Kindly help.

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to iCliniq.

I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry, I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed a sexually transmitted disease caused by bacteria, fungi, or viral infection. You can do a urine culture for an MCS (urine microscopy, culture, and sensitivity) test and reply to me with the result. Meanwhile, please continue with your Doxycycline medication. If your symptoms persist, schedule another appointment for follow-up via chat, phone, or video consultation.

Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
