Patient's Query

Hello doctor.

I am an 18-year-old female. My face burns when I stand in the hot sun, and I have a little pimple on my nose. No face cleanser is suitable for my skin. Please suggest any face wash along with any moisturizer or sunscreen.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through the details you provided and understand your concern.

I suggest that you follow the following routine:

  1. Salicylic acid face wash: Apply half a teaspoon of this face wash to a moist face and massage in gentle circular movements for one minute before washing off. It should be used in the morning and at night.

  2. SPF 55 sunscreen gel (sunscreen): Wear sunscreen from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. If going out, apply 20 minutes before leaving, and if staying at home, apply as the final stage of the regimen. It should be remembered that sunscreen loses its potency every two hours, re-apply sunscreen on top of previously applied layers every two hours, even when at home.

  3. Moisturizer: Apply this to your face once or twice daily. This aids in regulating oil secretion around the nose and in keeping the skin clean.

  4. Consume at least two liters of water every day.

I hope this helps.

Thank you.
