Hello doctor,
I had a fever for four days. Today I woke up without a fever but started with a common rash. Suddenly I feel uncontrollable pinches of itching, especially in my hands and feet it has not stopped for hours. I can not sleep because of this itchiness. I am 50 years old. No other symptom after the fever but the rash and this crazy sensation of itchiness! Please let me know if I should go now to the hospital or if I can wait. I thought that once the fever was gone everything was going to be okay but this is way worse!

I read your query and understand your concern. I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms of fever and itching, I propose you have developed an anaphylactic reaction. Any hx of frequency urination, change of cosmetic or soap, or previous drug intake? Please do a sugar test, LFT (liver function test), renal function test, stool, and parasite test.
I suggest you take the following:
1. Tablet. Ivermectin (avermectins) 30 mg orally everyday.
2. Tablet. Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) 500 mg orally three times a day.
3. Tablet. Acyclovir (cellulose,indigotine, lactose) 800 mg orally everyday.
4. Ointment 0.2% Hydrocortisone cream two times a day.
5. Tablet. Hydroxyzine (Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride) 25 mg orally everyday.
