Hello , hope you're doing well! I can understand how frustrating it can all be to have under gone a number of investigations. Your history of prolonged illness with normal investigation results suggests an underlying diagnosis of gastritis/ irritable bowel syndrome/ celiac disease. However , a detailed history would be needed to reach a definitive diagnosis. Stomach pain relation with food, improves or deteriorates with eating? intake of spicy or junk food? Are you suffering from bloating, altered bowel habits, abdominal cramps improves on defecation? During treatment , did you at any point felt better with certain medication? if yes ,kindly mention the name! For now, continue taking Rifaximin if your symptoms are controlled with it . or else follow the medication plan I am writing below. I really hope you get better by this! Best wishes.

The Probable causes

Anxiety, IBS, Gastritis

Investigations to be done

serum Vitamin D levels

Differential diagnosis

same as above

Probable diagnosis

Gastritis/ Irritable bowel syndrome? celiac disease?

Treatment plan

1. Cap Lansoprazole 30 mg per oral once daily 30 minutes before meals for 4 weeks then stop 2. Syp. Ulsanic 2tsf per oral thrice daily with meals for 4 weeks then stop

Preventive measures

1. Avoid eating spicy/ oily/ junk food. 2. Take last meal of the day 4 hours before sleeping 3. Avoid caffeine, chocolates, fizzy drinks

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
