Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Kindly suggest some medications, and ointments for tendinopathy or tendinosis, along with physiotherapy to reduce the swelling in the knees and elbow joints. Blood test reports were negative for rheumatoid, autoimmune disease, and inflammatory markers, and the ESR is normal.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Could you please send a picture of your knees and elbow?
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Kindly suggest what physiotherapy, medications, and ointments are required along with their duration. I am currently taking Bispro, Cavstat 40, and Candesartan.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I have reviewed the images (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), I can see some inflammation in your knee joint.
I am suggesting some medications, consult your specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent:
1. Tablet Zerodol-SP (Aceclofenac, Serratiopeptidase, and Paracetamol) one tab twice a day for two weeks.
2. Capsule Pregabalin 50 mg, one cap at night for one month.
Please do a range of motion exercises for both joints and quadriceps and hamstring strengthening exercises for the knee joint.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Please clarify if the medications apply to the elbows as well.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
Yes, the same medications work for the elbows too. I would suggest you to follow up with me after ten days, then let us see how you are responding.
Thank you.
