This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am 33 years old. I never had sex and physically fit. I do not drink alcohol or smoke. My eating habit is healthy and I do not have much stress. I did my medical test three months back and found my testosterone level is below the minimum limit. I started eating vegetables and fruits, but still facing the problem. I am getting erection in the morning. Now, I am worried as I am getting married in 20 days.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

  • There is no need to get stressed due to low testosterone levels. As you are getting early morning tightness, this means that there is no organic issue.
  • If you have to go for urine in the morning, even then, that tightness is significant.
  • You can use herbal medicines like Tentex Forte, one tablet twice a day for 10 days and then two tablets twice a day and Confido, one tablet twice a day.
  • These herbal supplements will help with strong erection. Even L-arginine containing supplements can be used. Just remain relaxed and within a couple of weeks you will be alright.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor,

I will follow the same. As I am not getting an erection, my interest in sex became low. I was with my fiance and we tried to have sex. But, I did not get an erection and so, I became tense. Also, I masturbate around two to three times a month.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thanks for asking again. If the improvement is minimal with these medicines, then we have to look towards other options. You are not overweight. But doing strenuous exercise will help to improve endorphins secretion. The testosterone levels will also improve. Supplements containing Zinc also helps. A lot of supplements contain Zinc. This improves testosterone levels. Increase the intake of unsaturated fats. Increase the foods containing omega-3 fatty acids like walnuts, hazelnuts, salmon, or sardine fish. This will also help to improve testosterone levels. Increase the use of some leafy vegetables especially Fenugreek (Methi). Fenugreek seeds also help to improve the levels of testosterone. Start taking L-arginine supplements. L-arginine 500 mg per day helps to improve the erection of the penis. L-arginine, zinc, yohimbine containing supplements are available. I also advise you please get your serum testosterone levels checked again in order to rule out the deficiency. A good standard laboratory will show the levels normal. Thanks. Take care.

Patient's Query

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Thanks for asking again. First of all, you have to understand the basic physiology of male sexual functions. Males have a normal latency period which might vary from few minutes to half an hour. This is normal. If you are not getting an erection immediately after first intercourse then there is nothing to be worried. This is normal. The fluid that is secreted while erection is pre-cum and not semen. This is secreted for lubrication. So remain relaxed. This is also a normal thing. With time and experience, you will develop a good time of ejaculation and you will enjoy the sex. Thanks. Take care.
