Hello doctor,

I require assistance with my thyroid operation. I was also lacking in B12. I began to gain a lot of weight. I had my thyroid profile tested. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

It appears you have subclinical hypothyroidism, and there is no need for treatment. We usually do not recommend treatment for this just wait and watch technique is used. You should repeat your thyroid function test every three months and let me know how they came out. Try to sleep on time and for at least seven hours daily and have a fixed sleep time as it helps to improve your thyroid function. Yes, it does look like you have vitamin B12 deficiency. You can take Tablet Neurobion forte twice a day for three months. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. You have high uric acid levels, but considering your age, I recommend avoiding fish and fish products, eggs, meat, and a high-protein diet for six months. Increase your daily intake of water to eight glasses per day.

Revert with the answer to assist further.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.
