Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had my RCT done two years back but a bit of pain was there still the doctor had to do permanent filling due to my exam then next year I had to do re-rct for the same tooth but still the pain was there so they called an endodontist however the pain did not go away. All X-rays were normal. So recently I went to another endodontist and again had my x-ray but the x-ray was normal. Now I have right-sided face dental pain and one more thing I also have scoliosis. Does scoliosis cause dental pain?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

I read your query and understand your concern. No, scoliosis does not cause dental pain usually. Do you have the xray with you? If yes please attach it too. If the same tooth still has pain and swelling even after doing re-rct then the tooth needs to be extracted as endodontists have failed to clear the infection. If you are sure there is another infected tooth with a cavity then this tooth should be removed. Please attach the pictures of the area with the adjacent tooth along with the X-rays too. You will need antibiotics like Augmentin three times a day for a week along with painkillers.

Thank you.
