Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I had unprotected intercourse with my partner and used the pullout method. I had my period that month. After the intercourse, I took Ipill within an hour, and after 30 minutes of taking that, I bleed a little. Now from after 2 days of taking Ipill am feeling weak and nauseous and also vomiting and stomach ache. Now I know that the pill's withdrawal bleeding comes after 5 to 10 days after but I really want to know that when will I get my period and why am I getting all these signs, are there because of the pill?

Hello,

Thank you for stopping by!

I am here to provide expert opinions on your medical issues.

I have gone through your case and I understand your concern. That bleeding you got is withdrawal bleeding, and it is normal. Nausea and weakness could be side effects of the pill. Take tablet Pan D before meal twice daily for 3 days. You can expect your periods on your due date, there could be a 1-week fluctuation. Have more green leafy vegetables and fruits in your diet. Keep yourself hydrated, take at least 3 liters of water per day.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
