Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have symptoms like burning and irritation while peeing. It is mild, and it usually increases in the morning. I have the urge to pee even if very little urine comes out. I have mild lower abdominal pain, but I do not want to have antibiotics as I had a tablet Aldactone for seven to eight months, and it weakened my stomach. So, kindly suggest any alternatives for this problem. Can it be cured? Are there any natural ways to treat it?

Please give your suggestions.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern. Please help me with a few details: Are you diabetic? Why were you on Aldactone (Spironolactone)? Are you hypertensive? Do you have a fever or pain in the sides of the abdomen? Have you passed any blood with your urine? Do you have complains of white discharge through the vagina? Do you wake up at night to pee? How many times during the day are you peeing? Have you had any urine tests done?

I hope this has helped you out. Kindly follow up with the details so that I can assist you further.

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

I am not diabetic and hypertensive. I was on the tablet Aldactone for acne problem, and I also had birth control tablet Diane 35 mg. I have no fever or pain or the abdominal sides. I have not passed blood in urine. I do not have complaints of white discharge. I do not wake up at night to pee. I pee around six times a day. I have not had urine tests done recently

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I suggest you take the medications below and undergo a few tests like urine routine and microscopy and urine culture and sensitivity. Depending on the results antibiotics may or may not be needed. I suggest you follow a few instructions, take the tablets CRANPAC D (cranberry PAC and D-Mannose) and ECONORM (Saccharomyces boulardii) 250 mg twice daily for one month, drink lemon or cranberry juice once a day for the next month, and limit the consumption of tea or coffee and spicy food. Consult a specialist, talk with them and take the medications with their consent.

I hope this has helped you out.
