Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My kid is 15-months-old. I am a pure vegetarian, and my husband is a pure non-vegetarian. Can I bring up my child as a vegetarian? My husband refuses, saying that the baby will not get enough protein.

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You are a vegetarian, and I suppose you do not have any nutrition issues. Pulses are a rich source of protein. So, you can bring up your kid as a vegetarian.

Have a good day.

Thank you.
