Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Small vesicles are seen near pubic hair. Itching associated. No pus discharge is there. It is wet with clear fluid. Should I be concerned? I am attaching the image for your reference. Please give your opinion.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have seen the image shared by you (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). At this stage, it appears to be not a thing to panic about, but yes, at the same time, we must try to find out why this is happening. Did you recently start any intense exercise? Did you recently try to do shaving of private parts? Did you recently change undergarments or soap to wash undergarments? Did you recently start any medication?

My recommendation for you is as follows:

1) Maintain excellent hygiene and keep the area dry.

2) Wear loose cotton underwear.

3) Use V-wash (Lactic Acid) to clean the area.

4) Avoid intense exercise or any activity which leads to sweating inside.

Please answer the above questions so that I can guide you accordingly.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you.

I regularly trim pubic hair. I do not do the shaving. I do not do intense exercise. I have not changed the soap. Kindly help me.

Answered by Dr. Reetika

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Be more cautious when you trim the hair next time. Maintain good hygiene, which I am sure you must be already doing. Wear loose cotton underwear. Please do not do any activity or exercise, leading to excessive sweating near the private parts as it may worsen the situation. As of now, there is nothing to worry about follow good hygiene. Wash your underwear in gentle soaps only. I hope this was helpful.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
