Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 21 years old with a height of 5 feet 6 inches and have a high heartbeat, weakness, dizziness, and tingling in my ears and cheek. Kindly suggest.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern regarding weakness and dizziness-like symptoms. I have closely looked at your reports (attachment removed to protect patient's identity) and I can see that you have quite low vitamin B12 and iron levels. Low vitamin B12 may cause these symptoms. I would suggest you start taking supplements for B12 and iron. Can you please tell me about your diet and daily routine so that I can suggest you with a diet chart and exercise schedule? I hope you find this helpful.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Here is my diet routine:

Breakfast - two chapati, snacks and tea.

Noontime - one fruit (pomegranate or apple).

Lunch - Daal, rice, curry, and salad.

Dinner - Roti daal and sabzi.

Daily Routine - going to college (8 am to 3:30 pm).

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

So to fulfill the needs of nutrients in diet. You need to increase your water intake and fruit intake. Avoid fast food, and oily food in your diet. Pour one sachet of ORS (oral rehydration salt) into one liter of water bottle and drink throughout the day. Also, consume one liter of plain water. Avoid tea, coffee, and namkeen. Try to eat fruits daily like papaya, watermelon, and cucumber, and take the cut fruits with you in your tiffin in college. You may continue to take full meals but eat fruits and salad before that.

Take tablet Vertin (Betahistine) 16 mg 12 hourly for three days.

Consult with me after three days and continue the above diet. Hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
