Hi doctor,
I got my wisdom teeth out. They said I had two bone grafts placed on both lower sides. I also got stitches in place. Well, today, I felt one stitch come out. Is it too early? Is it bad? They did not go over bone grafts with me.

If you upload a picture of the wound, I can help you if they have placed a bone graft or not. Your pain seems psychological and has nothing to do with the healing socket. Yes, the suture displacement is too early; four days is the least time we can remove a suture from the oral cavity, and typically suture is removed after ten days. However, suture displacement is not too bad; suture helps heal fast wounds and prevents dry sockets. Kindly remind me after three days if pain and wound coloration are abnormal.
