My teeth has gradually becoming yellow. What can be done?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My teeth are yellow and do not get clean with brushing. They were white before but gradually got yellow. What can be done? Also, I have bleeding and painful gums.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I suggest you visit a dentist and get your teeth cleaned for gum pain and bleeding. For yellow teeth, use baking soda, salt, and lemon juice paste to brush your teeth, and then use normal toothpaste. Use this paste twice a week only, and it will give you good whitening. Also, you should maintain oral hygiene properly and use mouthwash after brushing. You can use the peel of a banana to rub on teeth for whitening, but that is not applicable everywhere. Visit the dentist soon to get relief from gum pain and bleeding. Wish you good dental health and happiness.
