Is it normal to get floaters after laser treatment?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. It is normal to see floaters and light post laser also because the retina is a light-sensitive tissue but if it increases in frequency and shower of floaters occurred then immediately call for a checkup. There is no time limit for fresh spots to develop. We cannot comment on it. It may take days to years but mostly I have seen in my patients that it is less likely to develop in near future once laser barrage is done.

What are the treatment options for managing glaucoma?

Hello, Glaucoma is a progressively blinding condition if not controlled properly. It is good that your doctor has suggested a comprehensive medical management plan. The addition of the steroid drop could be due to high intraocular pressure (IOP), which may have caused corneal swelling or the development of neovascularization. If the condition is still not controlled, surgery could be considered as an option for treatment. Here are my suggestions for managing the condition: Medicines: Consider slight adjustments to your current medication. Use Alphagan P twice a day, Azopt twice a day, and Xalatan once a day.

How do you treat a retinal detachment?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. I went through your query. It is a long-term detachment and it is not confirmed whether it has resulted in total detachment and whether surgery will be beneficial or not. Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) will not benefit you if vision is less due to retinal detachment. It is important to have a clinical assessment to see the retina's status.
